If Mark Coleman wants to fight at 205

then I think that the UFC should let him. Obviously if he wins he stated he wants to eventually go for the belt, but I think if he loses then they should give him a fight at 205 where he feels that he would be on more of an equal power/size level with his competitor as opposed to his 50 lb size disadvantage against Brock.

on the gross show coleman said the heavyweights now are generally bigger and more well rounded than they used to be.

he said he was 6 1 and walked around at 220 or so these days (much shorter and lighter than most modern hw's), eating clean and training, and that cutting 20lbs was easy for a wrestler (him)

He is a big cat, 205 might be a bit tough for him, but if he says he can do it, I'll go along with it.

Why does it really matter? He faced a much more dangerous opponent in Fedor who's considered the best HW in the world by most of Sherdog yet people are now crying foul on the UFC's part for matching him up with a rookie in Lesnar. The intelligence on Sherdog never ceases to amaze me.

Honestly, I think Mark Coleman still has at least three or four good fights left in him. And call me ignorant or whatever, but if he says he walks around 220 and thinks he can make 205, then I will do no more than support him in every way. Just for the record, I think he will defeat Brock Lesnar in the second round via TKO due to GNP. You can quote me on that.
