The way I look at it his career can go in two directions do you think he will stay in the UFC where he will dominate pretty easily or do you think he will want to go vto Pride where the compition is much tougher at least in the Heavyweight division. If you ask me its just a question of how good he really thinks he is and if he wants to test himself i guess will have to wait and see.

I think AA is a true fighter, and he's gonna want to take on tougher competition. Whether its as the UFC champ, or as a Pride title contender, he will seek it out. He's already gained the distinction of getting the title and successfully defending it (although it was against a can).

Andrei is one of the best fighters i ever seen.
I think the best for him is the Pride....the UFC is done...the UFC dont have a good fighters for him right now.
The people talk and talk! and when he beat Tym`s ass again what next??? nothing! the UFC champ for years!!! because the UFC need more new talents there! and Andrei need to fight too...because then the negative coments come!

I know his deal with the UFC is up after this fight ... I beilieve. I have a feeling win or lose ... if the UFC doesnt sign someone to give him a fight, he's going to go to Pride.

Thats my opinion. He can't wait around for the UFC.

I actually don't think he'll leave....but Zuffa needs to get moving on getting him some competition....they're banking on Sylvia winning though.....why I say that, is they still haven't gotten anything promising yet....but maybe they're waiting for an unveiling at UFC 59

I can see him following the money and the recognition and going to fight Fedor in Pride.

But he will easily dominate the UFC division imo, so in the long term culd well make more money at the UFC.

I think it would save the UFC alot of money if they just send him to Pride. The UFC has no one to build to fight AA and even if they did it's going to take at least a year to build them. I think he would roll through the next 2 years of fighters, so why not let him go and let us watch B level fighters go at it. The UFC still has Vera, Silvia, Buentello, Pano, Monson, I can't think of anyone else....and that's why he should go. When RJJ fought for HBO they paid him big bucks to fight either nobodies or other who were not even close in skill level and he and HBO were critized fairly and unfairly for it. The fact is unlike RJJ, AA can go somewhere else, to Pride for better competition. I think the UFC should take it on the chin and let him go to Pride, they have so many other fights to market and that can sell just as many tickets and PPV without him. i don't know if this is true but I don't think that the heavyweight division carries the allure that is does in boxing.
