First you say sherdoggers were calling him overrated. Why does he get an immediate title shot. Then you say he is adored right now. All of this while Arlovski has been on the shelf for months? How does he go from overrated to adored without fighting?

I've always thought he was a good fighter. But the comment about Sherdoggers is definitely true. I remember post Werdum fight he was one of the most overrated fighters ever, and now people are saying he deserves a title shot.
What gives?
Dana promised a title shot and he didn't get it. So all we learn is Dana is a liar and Sherdoggers opinions change quickly.

He has great potential, however IMO the fame, and clubbing has gotten to him. Which is why we hadn't seen-the AA of old. He wakes up early and stays up late clubbing that has to do damage

I think this gets to the root of the TS question. There aren't that many guys out there that are doing more impressive things than Arlovski. A lot of people hoped he would get beat by Pe De Pano. I remember them saying his jj would def be to much for AA. Then They hoped Werdum would beat him. They kept pointing towards Aleks as proof. Basically big Tim and AA have dominated the UFC and thats what keeps them in the peoples minds. Thats why so many people like them. Like it or not, not everyone watches mma outside of the UFC and thats why so many people like AA. You still have to admit, UFC or not he is a damn good fighter.

he is an amazing striker, is working on his wrestling, great on the ground, hits extremely hard, he just needs to suck it up and focus and fight more often
