I love the Gonzaga, Sanchez, Werdum junkies.

You are delusional if you don't think Sylvia is a great fighter. He's Top 10 for a reason, he demolished nearly everyone he faced in his early career and while he has been lackluster as of late, he's still a dangerous fighter.
As for Werdum, get your head out of your ass. The guy beat Gonzaga (albeit early in his career) and Aleks who certainly has "quality or potential". He also went to a decision with Nog which is no easy feat.

Ok, you may not like Sylvia, but he is up at the top of the hw division right now. And if you accept that AA is better, you accept that he's up near the top.
The big thing with Arlovski isn't just something you can see from the fight finder. He ran over Eilers and Buentello like a train, made cabbage look thoroughly outclassed and went on to prove he could hang with good grapplers by beating Pe De Pano and Werdum.
He easily beat Sylvia back when Sylvia was considered to be an inoffensive ko generating machine. If Sylvia had any less of a chin that shot he took in the second fight would have laid him out. And if AA hadn't gotten excited and rushed in, he likely would have gotten the ko later anyway. And in the third fight he injured himself so that's no real test.

I was a fan because of how he just destroyed guys. He was extremely gun shy in his last outing. I am not sure what exactly happened to him. I would like for him to get his act together, work on his grappling, and make a comeback. Dude is badass.

Im logically trying to understand why so many people here praise Arlovski. What has he done so good to be put on such a high pedistal. You couldn't convince me, or attempt to name 3 quality HW's that he has beat in the last 5 years. Hes got power, size, accuracy, strength, but still not enough to hold a reign at 220+ with current lineups. I've seen his bouts for years, but nothing to push me towards a Arlovski fan.
Most Sherdoggers' want to see him up against some top notch opponents...to me there are other fighters far ahead in line for shots.
Don't try to play me off as some rook, cause i've been under this bridge for years.
People say he is twice the fighter that Sylvia is, I definitely agree..but he is no where near the top of the chain. Someone shed some light, and by that I mean put up some quality points, that i'm not seeing. Don't try to convince yourself cause hes a big HW in the UFC and beats on Tim, that you have to love him. Give me some info that i've been blind to see. I don't need to hear that i'm a newb cause I don't have 2000 post count in 3 months. Explain why I am so baffled on to why you all think he is a king, without a crown.

I agree 100%. I've said it on here many times before A.A. is not a top HW or near the top. I rank him around 10 or so at best.
What people glamour about him is he was put in a great light by the UFC because of his competition during his good run. He is more of a product of lesser competition then a top tier fighter.

Sylvia is by NO MEANS a great fighter. Thats a large brand to put on someone. You think back years from now and I guarantee Tim will not be what you quote him as. I'll give you that he can be dangerous. Weight, Height, and a school bag of skill can get you that.
Aleksander will never be a top 5 fighter in a class with competition. You can quote that.
And you are blind if you think that Gonzaga is anything but a flash in the pan. But those are another story.
The decision between Nog and Werdum was a decent tilt. And I see the win from Arlovski. But I still don't see how most can say Arlovski is great cause he has 'potential' show it.

simple...the heavyweight pool is overall lacking regardless of organization and the UFC have this bottom top ten guy who is coming off of a win against a solid opponant (an opponant who may be in a #1 contender match with GG) that they arent even fucking using....thats why people are frustrated and want to see him on cards
