Aoki will submit Jason Black
He is too good on the ground. Im thinking RNC at the end of the first.
in the usa vs japan matches i see it being 3-1 with only gilbert melendez winning for the poor americans

You might be right. The poor American's see how the "Japanese cans" will give the meaning American a whole nother meaning as AmeriCAN.
Batlle of the cans!
(obviously, no cans are involved but some still think)

it truely is battle of the up n comers in all but the kawajiri fight.
i wish they let yves fight kawajiri again instead of brennan (or even josh thompson).
brennan is boring imo.

i wouldn't go so far as to say shooto is bushido's B league.
considering almost all of the top bushido fighters originated from shooto.
but aoki definitely lost to the power of the big bucks. ;)

i meant B league in that everyone who excells in Shooto (and deep) ends up in bushido. It's like a feeder system (like wec to ufc)

Aoki is going to submit Black in amazing fashion.
We're talking about a top 5 WW here. He could dominate the LW division. If he meets Sakurai again, he'll probably dominate him even worse than he did the first time.(Ignore the judges decision)

You may be right about the Aoki fight, but Black is crafty and I wouldn't automatically count him out. It'll be entertaining regardless. Also, I see the Curran-Hatsu fight as a close one and a chance for the Americans to even the score. Brennan's done and I agree entirely with the Yves rematch suggestion.

With all the hype around aoki,, he better be able to levitate and pull of submissions with his gooch.
