Anyone know the average price of tickets for Pride?

Hey sorry to disturbe the boards, but I was wondering if anyone has been to the Pride shows live? I want to head to Japan with my girlfriend this december to watch it, and want to know the average pricing for tickets? I know the last show of year is going to be crazy! Thanks in advance

I've been to several Prides - the price range varies widely based on the seating.

Here's the 8/30 pricelist from the Pride japanese site:

VIP 50,000 yen /$415 (....this is roughly rows 3-15)

RRS (royal ring side) 25,000 yen/$208 (roughly rows 16 - 30 or so)

Stand S 14,000 yen / $116 (first level of elevated seating)

Stand A 7,000 yen /$58 (second level of elevated seating)

I have been in Royal Ringside and Stand S....you actually can see better in the cheaper seats beause of the elevation. Royal ringside is closer, but you really can't see much of the fight when it goes to the ground, so you watch half the fights on the big screen which somewhat defeats the purpose of paying to be closer.

Hope that helps

Why would you get flamed for this? I'm still relatively new here though, so maybe I'm just a dumbass for not seeing a reason.

Those are Bushido ticket prices. The prices for the number shows and GP events are
VIP 100,000
RRS 30,000 or 33,000
Stand S 17,000 or 18,000
Stand A 7,000 or 8,000

I do not know what the determining factor is between the slightly higher and slightly lower prices I have seen on tickets for the number shows and GPs, but it's only a small difference anyway.

The NYE show this past year was the same pricing as the number show / GP show list above except that the VIP seats were 150,000. However, given the lack of FujiTV tie-ins now, there is no guarantee that there even will be a NYE show this year. A lot of that extravaganza was financed by the FujiTV budget; don't know what DSE will be able to pull off for NYE without a big TV partner.

SpacePotato; do you know how a foreigner can see a pride show live (getting tickets.. etc.). Basically there are some tour packages but they occasionally involve USA flights. Is there not a place/people who can book/gather tickets for you in japan. Thanks.

I don't know of an easy way to do this. You might want to contact the people at kakuto.com who arrange tours there; they seem to be a small, flexible organization, so maybe they could help you out with a ticket + hotel deal where you buy your own airplane ticket, etc.
