Anyone else thinking 155 is getting stacked!?!

Stevenson is dropping down to 155. Sherk is doing the same.

Anyone else think that the UFC is quickly building what could be a very exciting and interesting division?

I can't wait to see more fights at 155.

Discuss!

Josh Neer also mentioned dropping down. Should be very competative in the next few months.
Also, I have heard Chris Lytle can make 155, he could be a force.

Indeed. Neer said he wanted to do the same. I'm also hoping to see Josh Thompson in there again.

Personally, I firmly believe Sherk will be the next 155 champ.

I think this div will end up looking as good as UFC 170. Now that they have it back again does anyone think TUF 4 will feature 155ers?

I personally love watching these guys fight. They tend to be a lot quicker and more athletic than HW's for example.

Ken Flo will still look scrawny at 155. He should probably be fighting at 145....but I digress

It's because the UFC is talking and planning of bringing the division back and there are a few fighters jockying for a spot at a championship. I can't wait to see what happens.

I don't know if he'll win the championship, but i definitely think they have plans to put him in contendership.

I'd like to see the LW championship on an august card or so. Presuming Sherk doesn't suffer a serious injury against Diaz, he can get in one fight at LW and fight for the title in a late summer card.

I really don't know who else the UFC would like to see face him though. I suppose putting Hominick in another televised fight (and if he wins) would make a decent matchup.

Otherwise, the best match up they could make in that amount of time would probably involve one of the TUF fighters.

I honestly don't think we'll end up seeing a champion until late in 2006 at the earliest. I wish they'd speed it up, but as long as they put together good matchups to build up the entire division, I'm fine with it.

I think K.Flo is too tall for a 145lb div.

155 will probably be good for him.
