Anyone Else Have A Hard Time Listening To The Advice of Trigg?

When i listen to comentary... I try to 'learn' from it... however, i can't trust a word that comes out of trigg because he isn't that good of a fighter... When he's spouting off on 'Nog needs to throw that right hook on werdum... etc etc..' who knows if thats good advice... its not like its coming from someone who knows how to win and apply a gameplan...

for example... are you really going to listen to sakuraba on how to beat silva? Heck no... at least with Bas and Couture you have acually good, respected fighters... so when they say something its usally always good and wise advice...

Am I alone on this?

do not listen to trigg. he is a kurt angle clone and is allergic to rear nakeds, and thinks too highly of rickson. i laugh at his comments on fsn's pride shows.

Bas is totally the best to listen to for advice, and then he is pretty funny on top of that with a great accent to tie it all together. Trigg on the other hand probably knows what he is talking about, but he seems like a tart up there. I do enjoy the times he says stuff like that guy hits pretty hard I know cuz he knocked me out, or something along those lines. But the worst guy to hear is Joe Rogan, he isn't funny and he spends to much time looking at his cheat sheet trying to figure out how to say Kimura or omaplata. I think that its a little harsh to say because he loses fights he doesn't know what he is talking about. Huge difference between having a plan and being able to implement it.

i hate the smug remarks and facial expressions that trigg makes. he did have some humility tho when he mentioned his new years resolution was to not get choked out again

you don't know what you're talking about if you say Trigg doesn't know what he's talking about.

ill take bas rogan couture mir muaro quadros rampage over trigg anyday. don't like what he has to say. yes, he's a proffesional fighter, but so is zulu. don't think anybody said he doesn't know what he's talking about. he better know about his profession, or something is wrong.

ok? I'm not saying trigg doesn't know fundementals of mma... i'm just saying that his track record doesn't speak very good for his knowledge of the fight game... his losses aren't tough hard fought.. they are pretty simple technique mistakes...

i 'm a big trigg fan, but i felt bas gave way better advice.

the one thing i couldn't get over was trigg saying "gomi is a great ground and pound fighter and gnp'd azaredo the entire fight" after they showed his second fight with him on fsn. this was on an fsn show, so maybe he didn't see the fight just then, but i thought that was a horrible explanation of what the audience just saw.
