I thought I read about him having a heart attack and passing away recently

I was just wondering the same thing myself. I remember an announcement on the boards that he had died this year, yet mmaweekly.com has him listed as attending the upcoming EC welterweight tourney. Anybody have some info on this?

Ryan Bennett ironically confirmed Chief "as being alive and well" just before his death.
