Anderson Silva Interview. New!!!

Vamos lá fazer a nossa parte.

E no peso pesado?

Why you and Rodrigo (BIg Nog) are going to England?

We're going to promote next Ultimate and our fight that's happening on July 7th. We're going up there because it's always good to show up, to the guys know us. Of course we are already known there, Rodrigo is a great champion up there, but it's always good to make an appearance. We are going to do our part.

What do you know about your oponnent's game plan? What are your plans?

I expect to keep doing my job in a seriously and consistent way. I'm training hard, he is a tough oponnent and for fighting for the title it's a point that he deserves all my respect. Obviously all the fighters deserves respect, but he specially is coming to take a belt. I'm planning to keep holding this belt for more three years, that's my goal.

You are always adding some new skills and using your elbows a lot...

We're always using Muay Thai skills, but obviously there is alwyas something that we train more and works better. And wait and see if something new comes.

You used elbows against Franklin?

Against him i tried, but it wasn't work. He tried to hit me with his elbows three times and thank God i could defend. If i was not paying attention that three times, i would be done.

Who do you think is the toughest guy in your weight class?

Maybe my clone, right? But even so i think Rich Franklin is the man too. I think Rich and I are the best in the division

What abou Jucao? You guys already fought each other and today you two are training together and become friends. What do you have to say about his Muay Thai?

His doing his job with humildity, following the right path. The time is the thing that is going to say if he deserves a belt and he is doing the right thing and he has all th tools to take the belt in his division.

How is your training in Rio?

I can train in the morning at Black House, at afternoon i'm working out with Rogeirao. I also have BJJ practices wearing kimono at afternoon with Sylvio Behring. And at nite I train with Vitor (Belfort), Feijao, Jucao, the whole crew.

How is this kimono training with Behring?

I always liked it. For me Jiu Jitsu is a backup trick in Vale-Tudo. If you fell down, you must have a kept secret.

In your las bout you showed a nice ground game...

With all those sick training sessions something have to work (laughs). All those training sessions has consequences. Sometimes I spend the night here, sometimes i rather been here soon. But i think we are doing the right thing, there are some good jog here.

p.s.: in the introduction of the interview, asked about the Minotauro coming to UFC he said: " I think the heavyweight party is over at the moment that he stepped there."
