I'm going to try to Blog daily because when it's fight weekend in Vegas, there's so much going on! I didn't expect fight weekend to start till today, but it ended up starting for me yesterday.. please take a chance to hit up Amir's myspace (linked at the end of the blog) to let him know you aren't going to forget about him!

I'm more upset I can't see Catone fight. Anybody else think this guy has potential to make some noise in this division? He seems pretty well rounded and athletic.

This was the guy who occupied the #247 slot on that list of Rickson's 400 "victories", correct?

j/k... I actually like this guy and am looking forward to seeing more of him in the future... Hoping that he continues to improve his game, however, as I worry about these fighters who tend to take a beating for quite awhile before managing to pull out a win via submission. Big Nog pulls it off very nicely, but guys like Amir and Nate Diaz might not have an anvil for a noggin as Big Nog does...
