American Top Team boss claims no concerns with videogame exclusivity | MMAjunkie.com

Dan Lambert:

"All of our guys signed off on [on the exclusive videogame-rights agreement]," Lambert said. "I don't really think they were giving that much up, anyways. I didn't really see much of a demand for a videogame deal outside of the UFC. So I didn't think I was doing a disservice to my guys in recommending that they sign the deal. [The UFC] takes care of our guys in more ways than one. So, no problems on our end."

So squash the rumor of ATT having issues w/ the UFC

Its a really good read, he also breaks down that merchandising deal thats confusing everybody.

Hes more pro-UFC, so its a nice counterpoint to the AKA side-know both points of view

Doesn't really matter though does it. All the UFC haters got some fuel for their fire and nothing will sway them away from this latest travesty. Except of course for their goldfish like brains which, will see this pass in a day or two.

There is definitely a middle to this story but people will believe what they want to believe.

see he's not being far sighted. MMA is blowing up, maybe another org comes in and takes over and these guys won't be able to be a part of a potentially lucrative deal with that org.

Or maybe not even an org but just a video game company decides to make some wild fighting game, and these guys can't be part of it. The UFC doesn't need to be asking for exclusivity.
