i appreciate the time taken to write the post, so thanks for that.
in terms of penn being overrated, i still think he is, and i am not a huge fan, but i do respect his abilities.
i think the problem with penn, along with lack of desire to properly train, is his fans. no offense to teh clearly articulated TS and his thoughts, but far too many penn fans are fanatical-- akin to fedor fans or worse.
there is no denying the man is supremely talented, but too many fans cant accept the fact that he has lost, that he is fallible and/or that he is human. the nut huggers ruin it.
any who, thank you for an intelligent post on sherdog, thank you for stimulating debate and thanks for your efforts.
lastly, i would suggest that you offer a very romanticsed version of penn's storied career, that i would not consider realistic, no offence, and please dont think the above disingenuous based on this last sentiment.
