Advantage Chuck
I think Silva will be a slight under dog for these reasons:
1. Chuck has home field advantage (Chuck has more experience in the octagon/cage)
2. Chuck will surely have the refs/Judges on his side
3. The no stomping soccer kick rules work against Silva (who does it better than him)
Now if they fight in Pride, I would say Chuck is the under dog. So it's more about rules and geography than the fighters.
Wandy hasn't exactly had the same success in the UFC as he's had in Pride. Hopefully they do the 3 matches (One in the UFC, One in Pride and a rubber match if necessary).

I'm curious as to how many threads per hour are started on this.

Honestly, I think with the Silva-like pressure he is going to be pressing on Liddell, Chuck is FUCKED.
For example, Couture/Liddell 1. Randy pressed the action, non stop, and look at the result
The other fights, Randy didnt nearly bring the same type of pressure to chuck.
I really think if Silva keeps the hands flyin and the pressure on, war silva

Considering it's the biggest fight in MMA history... I would guess there will be many more to come...

I would agree with you on that except Chuck will be fighting his age more and more soon. He will start to lose his speed and power, this comes with age. Wandy is still young and only going in to his prime. It should be a good fight but I still think this fight will not happen, it's all smoke and mirrors. Both sides have to much lose and Pride more so, as they have a reputation for having the best fighters. Not I side reputation NOT FACT so all the fuckwit nuthuggers take a day off you don't have to a **** everyday.

Yeah I am rooting for Wandy, probably my fav of all time, but it's really hard to say who is better until they meet up. Chuck is on quite a tear, I couldn't picture a dream matchup better than this one. Not only is it two champs from diff organizations in their prime, but their styles will make for one hell of a slugfest.

Well, don't forget, we are in Vegas... There have definitely been some strange decisions in the sport.
Zuffa has everything to lose if Chuck loses to Wandy and with Pride on the verge of breaking into the US market. It will just confirm what everyone says about the level of fighters in each organization.
I think the few exceptions to that argument are guys like Chuck, Tito and Hughes. After TUF, I think they are pretty much even with the only exception being the HW division.
