I haven't seen UFC 61 yet and from the sound of things i don't intend on ordering it any time soon. I was wondering from those that watched the fight if they felt that this was a case of everyone overhyping AA after some dominating performances over weak talent or if people just generally gave Tim too little credit?

thats the way i saw it after last night. although AA could have easily won the fight with a corner man screaming at him telling him not to get away from the leg kicks. but he didnt. without the proper coaching he will just be wasted potential.

im starting to think that AA is overrated and Sylvia in underrated. i am a big fan of arlovski. he has so much potential. he should've tried to take tim down last night. i think arlovski lost that fight rather than tim winning it. but much respect for sylvia. he's the champ!

AA is overrated.... and sylvia is just... nevermind..

i dont how how it happned.. but the UFC HW division is worse off now than it was before the fight... and thats pretty low

One bad showing does not make a fighter overrated. Styles make fights. The problem with last nights fight was that both men fought not to lose, and neither fought to win. Arlovski is not overrated, he just tried to fight a strategy that Sylvia would not play into. Both times Sylvia was caught in the previous two it was when he led with a jab. Last night Sylvia led very little and played it defensive. Arlovski is still the best heavyweight in the UFC, he just matches up poorly against Sylvia.

And where are all the imbeciles screaming about how weak Arlovski's chin is? I told everyone before the fight his chin was fine, now that his chin has been proven and he has shown he could take Sylvia's shots no one has anything to say.

it is unbelievable the things that some of you people say.One day a fighter is a god the next day hes shit or in Sylvia's case everyone says hes shit no matter who he beats!True MMA fans know that these people are warriors who train and sacrifice and move away from families that love them just to follow a dream and those who have never been in a fight or never followed a dream sit behind a computer and call then names and disrespect them grow up and get some respect.

Andrei Arlovski has always been overrated, Tim Sylvia is slightly underrated... when it comes to his record. ( However, he's NOT underrated when it comes to his actual fighting skils. )

I'm a little sad that people are just NOW realizing this.
