Royce- The Original
Ken/Frank- The first mixed martial artists
Tito- The reason for the term GnP. The only reason the UFC made it through the SEG days
Chuck-Took it mainstream
Fedor- The GOAT.

My Number 1

Randy Couture - for all the older athletes for sure. Showed us all time and time again that age is but a number. He beat a younger Gonzaga, dominated the champ, and gave one hell of a fight to the current champ. All this year. He won the title in two weight classes all around the crisp ol age of 40.

in no particular order:

Sakuraba
Royce Gracie
Wanderlei Silva
Chuck Liddell
Fedor Emelianenko

Without Sakuraba, PRIDE would not have become what it did and you'd never who guys like Wanderlei, Big Nog, Fedor, Crocop, Shogun, etc are.

Royce, first guy to demonstrate that fighting really is a thinking man's game. Very interesting and exciting to watch.

Wanderlei Silva showed us all what "heart" really is. Ruthless and unrelenting, he is the perfect model of what an MMA fighter. Completely dedicated to doing his best and extremely thankful for his fans.

Chuck Liddell made MMA extremely popular in the US. With a great image and exciting style, during his prime years, Liddell was the face of American MMA - extremely influential

Fedor - by far the best MMA fighter we've ever seen. Closest thing to perfection we've seen in the past 15 years. Will be remembered in 100 years as the first seemingly unbeatable guy who fought all the best.
