Royce Gracie - showed that BJJ is the best single martial art out there and revolutionised MMA.

Fedor Emelianenko - he is, in my opinion, the first person to become a "complete" fighter. And that's why he's the best.

MMA is a young sport so i think i'll leave it at that. Adding anyone else would only cheapen the list.
