21 dollar PPV

this is just food for thought..so calm down please.

I'm sitting here at work and I've got a Pride 25 poster (the one with all the sharks) on my CPU desktop background. i was looking at the bottom and went and converted the prices of the things such as seating..$1000 or so for VIP seating..$350 or so for what i'm taking to be close to ground level..$170..further up?..$70 general admission..and get this $21 ppv..

I'm not bashing the ufc but..$180 is bout the cheapest..and were talking nosebleed..up to $3500 for ringside..(that being said for the right card i'd pull 3g outa my ass)..55 PPV..BS..
(im still buying lmao)

anybody went to a live event can explain what one could expect to pay for the whole experience? and was it worth it?

anybody know what Pride charged when the came thru vegas?

$21 PPV might have something to do with PRIDE's financial collapse...I'd charge at least $29.95 to show me fighting my little sister...

...and I pay $45 for UFC PPV's now, you need to find a new cable company.

$21 is just not enough to stay afloat. Especially with their great stage shows.

One thing you would have to factor in to the price of enjoying an event is distance. I live in WV so a Columbus event and an event in Montreal for instance have different price ranges. i know that is obvious but it is just something to consider. plus im drunk right now so dont listen to me.

Pride 25 took place on March 16, 2003. Don't know about you, but I've noticed some inflation and price increases across the board in everyday life since then.

For the Montreal show, tickets started at 50$. I got mine for 150$ each, but there were 100$ seats too. I don't know where you got the 180$ figure from.

70 buck Gen Admission works because they got the volume.
A Pride event at the Saitama Super Center seated about 70-80k people? Where as a UFC event holds about 17k max?
Don't know about the PPV though.
