185 No. 1 Contender??

After last night i got thinking who should be the next guy to fight Franklin... i can really only think of three guys that deserve to be thought of for a title shot

Marquardt
Swick
Leben

Im thinking Marquardt will get the next shot just because of his resume from the past, and hopefully we see a Swick vs Leben rematch to determine who would fight the winner of Marquardt/Franklin

I have been really impressed by Swick, he has absolutely owned everyone put in front of him, all three ufc fight have totalled less than 3 minutes

and leben has probably fought the best competition of any TUF guy, and has beaten them all.

I hope Tanner makes his way back to a rematch with Rich, but i still think he would lose again unless he improves his defense so he doesnt get completely busted up in every fight causing a doc stop

Lindland easily, or Ryoto Machida(less likely)
since Hendo/Busta are with PRIDE, and the people you mentioned above would got Crowed most likely

marquardt should fight horn, and prangley should fight leben.... to shut him up. let swick have the loser of the prangley/leben fight, or doerkson. this should give franklin some time to heal.

IMO Swick and Leben need a couple more fights. I'd love to see Swick and Leben fight someone like David Terrell or Joe Riggs. What about Jeremy Horn fighting Rich? They both have ties to the Militech camp though so they might not wanna fight each other.

I can't see any of these guys giving Franklin a good fight right now?

Can you imagine how big Franklin would look in the cage with Swick?? Quick or not Swick would get manhandled.

Leben vs Swick would be nice to see.

How about they bring Linland back so that Franklin can pummel him next! That would be fun for all.

Seriously Hendo vs Franklin would be good...not to start a big debate about that fight, but that sounds like some good comp for Franklin.

well Horn would definately be a possibility if he beats Evan Tanner, but i think Horn/Franklin would look just like Horn/Chuck II
