#1 MW UFC Contender?

Is there a clear cut #1 contender for Rich when he's healthy right now at 185?

I had heard rumors that Chris Leban was fighting at UFN5 before his opponent was released,
and based on that it almost seemed logical for Leban to fight Horn (After Horn goes 15 min. with Sonen) on an acutal UFC card, maybe 62.

But after seeing who Leban is fighting at UFN5, I would think they are setting up Silva to fight Rich.
Unless anyone thinks Leban could win, or Horn could take the winner?

I just dont see a clear cut #1 contender at 185 in the UFC.
And considering the close ties that Horn and Franklin share in training camps now, it would be an interesting situation.
Either way Rich wins by turning whoever's face into Grade A beef and going to descision

They don't have the talent in the UFC to make it happen. Bring on Shogun vs Franklin and you'll see a real massacre.

I dont think any MW in the UFC could beat Franklin.
I do however see Horn vs Sonen and Leban vs Silva, the winners will most likely meet at UFC 62, and THAT winner MIGHT get a shot at Franklin. But I dont see Leban winning vs any of those guys.

It's kind of disappointing when TUF guys are featuring on PPV's isn't it? I mean most of those guys are seriously not ready for PPV. $40 to see some guy fight that has never fought anyone outside of a small town promotion in front of 1500 people, come on!

The only contender is Franklin himself. They will have to use some CGI like in the movie the The One with Jet Li and have him fight himself. But on a serious note I don't think anyone right now is worthy of a shot against Franklin #1 contender or not. Well, at least in the UFC.

Leben definately warrants a spot on the undercard on a PPV by now. Be realistic, the guy has won fights. Is he a title challenger? No. But i think he can be with time.

Yeah he looked real strong with a decision win over Luigi Fioravanti! Are you kidding me, from barely beating that nobody to being on a PPV and one fight away from a title shot maybe! This guy Leben wouldn't last one round against a local japanese fighter in a PRIDE event would he, honestly?
