I think the only real prospects are at LHW. He is miles above everyone in this class.

Maia is the only one who hasn't faced Silva yet who has a chance and a slim one at that...its not a waste having Silva at MW until he wipes Leites, Maia and Okami out then give Hendo and I guess Marq another shot...Hendo I believe would give Silva the best fight at 185...Hendo deserves it before everyone but Okami if he beat Franklin...Okami was supposed to get a shot a long time ago...Leites is a waste of one of Silva remaining fights...Maia deserved it before

I think Anderson will walk through Leites. No matter who steps up to him at 185, he will destroy them. I don't see anyone at MW that can deal with Anderson period.

Mousasi or Cung Le would do well, if not beat Anderson imo..

However after Leites either Okami as revenge match or Maia would be acceptable perhaps Marquadt but i really dont see a return match being too much different.

agreed with everything you say...and I'd add Lawler to the list.
the UFC MW division is like the UFC LW division in that the #1 guy in the world is the champ...but much of the top competition for them is fighting elsewhere.
any of Lawler, Mousasi, Manhoef and Jacare could probably rip through most of the UFC MW division, IMHO.

i think Santiago has a much more impressive resume than those guys. I have seen nothing from lawler to make me think he can hang in the UFCs middleweight division. Jacare is so 1 demensional its laughable. How did Lister do in the UFC? and manhoef is worse. Because of that i don't know what to think of Mousasi? is he great or has he beaten an exposed overated kang and beaten 2 completely 1 demensional fighters. I thik Santiago's wins over Horn, Prangley, NAk. Misaki, Sasaki make him the best non UFC MW and he has been beaten by Alan the talent belcher and Chris Leben.

well silva does have a loss on his record courtesy of Okami... now i know i was via dq... but its still a loss and im sure silva wouldnt mind fighting okami and finish him legally this time...
