#1 Contender spot for the MW Belt

I would love to see Maia fight Marquardt and then have the winner fight Okami for the number one contender spot. I know its all just speculation but theres some great fights brewing for Anderson wether he wins or loses against Leites at 97.

And who do you see taking home the MW belt on April 18th?

no there isn't Anderson will kill all them so easy, it's such a waste having him at 185, he should be at 205

I'd like to see Anderson fight any of those 3 each poses different problems and I think Nate could do much better this time around.

Marquardt already got killed by Silva.

Okami would get killed by Silva.

there is no right answer.

Silva has already beaten, handily, the top 3 contenders. so sure, give Okami or Maia a chance for lack of a better idea.

or don't, because they don't "deserve" it as much as Nate or Dan.

it's as subjective as the P4P debate...if not more lol

I predict that in a few months Denis Kang will be on this list of top contenders. And if A.S. sticks around a while, that fight could come at the end of '09.

I agree. There are some good fighters at 185 but Anderson is just so much better. The only other thing would be to bring fighters across from other orgs like Mousasi, Manhoef or Cung Le but the only possibility in the near future there would be Le and i would give him the smallest chance out of those three.

However after Leites either Okami as revenge match or Maia would be acceptable perhaps Marquadt but i really dont see a return match being too much different.
