Why did my thread get closed?

I'm just curious as to why my thread in the S&P forum entitled "OT: Whose going to win in UFC 69" got closed? First, let me say that I'm not in any way b*tching or complaining, I am sure I did something wrong, not the mods. So I am just curious what the reason was for closing it, that way I can avoid forcing the mods to step in and so I can become a better member of this site.

If it was closed because it didn't belong in the S&P forum, I don't really agree (but am not complaining). We train in MMA probably moreso than the guys in the HW forums, and most of us don't like venturing into the HW forum due to the wild and immature nature of that forum...so we sort of have our own little clique. Also, it was clearly marked "OT".

Again, I don't want to get banned or piss any of the mods off or anything, just curious why it got closed.

The S&P forum has alot of MMA off topic discussions, why did mine get closed? That's the question, I didn't ask for a rude unfunny reply. Now, go back to petitioning every MMA company for a pink clothes line, I would love to see pink Sprawls

it wasn't rude. rude would be not replying all together.

and I don't know, I do not enter S&P, but point being anything that is offtopic has the right to be canned at any moment in time.

OK, cool...I was just curious as to why really. Nothing wrong with the thread at all, I just posted my picks for later tonight and asked who they thought would win.

Bama, you're a good guy, but you do seem to post a lot of OT threads in S+P. I'm sure on the S+P mods got sick of it.

I've posted 4 OT threads in S&P in my entire membership (granted, one was a couple of days ago). Some guys are posting OT threads much more often than me. I'm a little pissed at myself, because often times I come across as an idiot or am greatly misunderstood (thus making me look like an immature idiot). But this was a legit thread in my view. By the way, I made almost all the right predictions, except the GSP fight.
