Yes. Sometimes it takes several clicks.
The problem is that we don't have time to read every single thread to find every single objectionable post in every forum every hour of every day but don't think we aren't looking for ways to change this.
For example, we tried the Clockwork Orange approach of wiring our eyes open and having caffeine released into our systems on a time release IV drip but one of the mods went crazy, posted tranny porn and commited e-suicide so we had to stop that program.
We then tried to hook someone up to the forum via virtual reality equipment using a prototype cybernetic interface like in The Lawnmower Man. Unfortunately after patrolling the HWTS for 3 days straight he was rendered a comatose vegetable and is currently being taken care of at home by his family. We hope he makes a speedy recovery but given this happened 2 years ago and he still can't control his bowels, the doctors aren't optimistic.
After that it was decided to retry it with Fozzy only patrolling the OT but he developed a strange affinity for pink so we stopped the trials before he got worse.
The sad fact is we are merely human and need to eat, sleep, crap, take care of errands, shop for food, maintain our homes, go to work during the day, answer phone calls, feed our pets, bathe and other things that detract from our time on the forum.
Just some examples of where we are getting our priorities wrong around here, I know, but living life means we have responsibilities and tasks that aren't associated with this forum to take care of so we don't end up homeless, penniless and unable to get online. Cardboard boxes don't have ethernet ports and heroin addicts waving around dirty syringes living in alleys have a tendency to sell computer parts to pawn shops to get drug money. So you can see the bind we are in.
Right now human cloning is still illegal but as soon as that changes, I can assure you the forum will improve 1000% percent. We've already collected cheek swabs as well as hair, nail and sperm samples in preparation for such a ruling. ShidokanArtist gave us a sperm sample even though we didn't ask him but he's not someone you say no unless you want him to dump said sample in your coffee.
However in the meantime, we will keep and eye out for infractions when we are online but feel free to PM moderators when you do see infractions. We will do our best to clean up the messes we are aware of. Help us to help you and together we can make this forum the most peaceful, well run nirvana on the internet.
