The last few days I've had quite a lot of trouble browsing this forum, with timeouts and generally sluggish behaviour. It will work ok for five or ten minutes, and then it will sort of lock up for a couple of minutes before the servers start responding again. Sometimes the lockups are upwards of fifteen minutes. There seems to be no certain time of the day when this happens, it ia totally random as far as I can tell. Not just during "peak hours". I get the same result with a friends computer, on another connection, so I kind of doubt the problem is my ISP or my computer.

The message I get is either "No suitable nodes are available to serve your request." or just the standard timeout message in IE/FF. I rarely even get as far as the "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." message.

These problems does not apply to Sherdog.com - only Sherdog.net.

I know this behaviour is quite typical for overloaded servers where the CPU/Mem load is at 100% for periods of time, resulting in unresponsive servers or at least slows them down extremely much. We had the exact same problem on one of our forums a few months ago.

Anyone else been having these problems?
