I don't mean to cry but some of them are quite upsetting, and do not seem appropriate for this forum. It seems likely that several people featured in these videos are close to death if not there.
If it is against the rules, is there any way to reduce this manner of content? We all know where to find gore videos if we desire to look at that sort of thing.

I agree. If I wanted to see true horror and extreme violence, I would move to Somalia, or Detroit.
A lot of young people in this generation, who have unfortunately been raised on Family Guy and other low brow shows have been taught that circumstance doesn't matter, and that anything that can be videotaped is on a level playing field. This mentality creates the illusion that the fact that something *can* be taped means that it is as vallid to share/watch as anything else videotaped.
Facebook, Myspace, Webcams, etc, have all furthered the notion that everything is entertainment, and that nothing is sacred. Some of the things people have posted on the forums of Sherdog have disgusted me to no end. I have seen pictures of simulated (I hope) child abuse, suicides, and unfortunatly, brutal fights, some of which likely end in death or serious injury.
I admit that the allure of this type of thing is part of our nature, but that doesn't mean it should be readily available to anyone that can type "www.sherdog.com". And that's why forums have rules.
