with the influx(i think that's the right word) of new MMA fans i think you guys need a new forum for those that are new to mma and want to honestly learn about the sport without some two month orange belt misconstruding a dumb question as trolling.

What i think is just as bad as trolls and post whores, are pretentious mma "aficionados" who think just because they have been watching MMA longer, they can be assholes to us TUF noobs. And yes i just called myself a TUF noob, but its been almost 2 years people, get over it.

Maybe title it "MMA 101:where there is no such thing as a stupid question" and put above or just below the Heavyweights so its more visable.

If you see anybody saying condescending remarks to a new fan, just PM the mods and we'll take care of it.

its not just that, sometimes its just a god honest misunderstanding. it would also relieve some of the traffic on the main board.

all these new forum requests are just going to thin out the mods even more.

they've added a bunch of new mods to help with the trolling situation, people need to be patient and realize the mods are volunteers aside from their regular lives and regular jobs and not getting paid for this.

the best way posters can help is to be a mini-mod. yeah i said it.

instead of making new threads and trying to make more work for the mods, just help the mods with their jobs by reporting people VIA PM instead of thinking of new ways to avoid the trolls(which will never fully work anyways).

the mma101 is a thoughtful idea but for now with all the new mods and as the site settles into it's new format, it's best to make due and if you're DYING for mma info, there are other forums to check into and mma info allllllllll over the net.
