I would like clarification on posting in general. I post a lot (check my post count) but I do so in a conversational way to the topic I am discussing. I don't see this as postwhoring. I view my posts as an ongoing discussion with somebody about something.

Apparently a large percentage of the posters here only care about post counts/join dates.

How about getting rid of both? That way no one can call another poster a post whore because their style of posting differs from another.
