I came here to talk about MMA, but I must admit, as someone that pays close attention to politics I got pulled into a political discussion after Dana White made some comments about John McCain that started a thread.

During the discussion the party-fanboys came out and started saying things like "Barack Hussein Obamasque is a coward terrorist" etc. I'm not even an Obama supporter (though I do prefer him to McCain) but I felt I should shoot down this racist with extreme prejudice.

Nonetheless, I didn't say anything that offensive, but suddenly my post count was halved as all my posts in that thread were deleted. No reason given.

I've been following MMA for years and reading this forum for a long period too, so I know I wasn't nearly as offensive as some that don't have their posts deleted.

My question is obviously why were they deleted. Also, can I get a notice if my post is taken off and why?

If a thread is deleted then all your posts in that thread will be deleted aswell. Chances are the thread was out of hand and was removed and you lost a few posts no big deal really it happens. Sorry we cannot give notice to everyone that loses posts as that would take more time and hassle than it is worth and simply is not practical. I would avoid posting in threads that breach the rules and are clearly "troll" threads to avoid losing posts if it is a concern to you since there is a good chance they will be deleted or moved to the Wasteland.
