(I'm making this thread from another computer....Not my own.)

As of late I have had serious problems getting on the forums from my home computer.

Before this, even getting on the site as a whole was impossible....I now have to use Sherdogs url number just to be able to get on the site.....

And from there, every thing works BUT the forums.....When I click on anything from the forum section or the forum itself I get that damn white error page, the can't find server one....

So is there anybody else having this problem?

Can a mod or admin give me any advice or tips?

Is there a forum url number or an alternate link that I can use?

No forum = Teh suck

I was having a lot of problems-then I started using Firefox as a browser. That cleared up the great majority of issues for me.

I'd rrecommend trying Firefox as a temporary fix.

Did you check if other forums run by the same company (Vbulletin?) work for you?

Also, if you have Sherdog bookmarked, right click Sherdog in your bookmarks and click Properties. Check to make sure Ad-ware didn't change that URL. That's about all I know.

I have a similar problem. For some reason, randomly, i can't access the forums with FireFox. Sometimes I'll get the banner at the top of the page but the forums themselves won't load. Sometimes I don't even get the banner. On these occasions I resort to using IE and everything loads fine.

This only occurs at home (never had the problem at work) so I'm guessing it has something to do with my browser settings but I'm not sure what. I'll be browsing the forums and everything will be fine but then I'll click on a thread and it won't load. I'll then try reloading the page and it won't load.

Maybe if my addiction grows I'll delve deeper into the cause but until then IE works when I need it.

I have these problems sometimes at night. It just happens randomly and it seems like the site is down for like 2 hours, ill try again the next day or a few hours later and it might work.

Its lame.

Go into your IE Settings and click the Security tab. Make sure your security settings are set no higher than Med- Med/High. That might help. Or try allowing cookies under the same tab
