GSP up for an ESPY

Just read the following article about GSP being nominated in the "Best Fighter" category for an ESPY. He's the first ever mma athlete to be nominated for these awards. I realize these are just a popularity contest but I think this definitely helps the perception of the sport as being legitimate. Do you think GSP is actually the one that should be nominated from MMA? If not who is more deserving?
