i have been trying to start a new thread in the ask the fighters forums and i get an error message saying that i do not have permission to do that page, what ever that page is. if i need to i will just pick a thread and post my question onto the most recent thread but it kinda gets me to wondering because there have been other threads that i was trying to reply to that this error message has come up with. is it because i am a white belt or is there another problem?

We really want to professional fighters to have a positive experience here, so that they will want to come back and continue to interact with fans. So to prevent troublemakers from causing problems in that forum, and to keep things positive, we only allow people with a certain postcount level or a green name (in other words, people who have something invested in their account here and who would therefore be inclined not to do anything to jeopardize it) to start new threads in there.

That's what I thought, but didn't respond because I found threads to the contrary. Such as how do you explain these?

If you read those threads carefully you'll see indications that they were started in other forums and then moved by a moderator to ask the fighters.

To be honest I didn't read those threads at all. I just saw that whitebelts started them and was like WTF? That makes sense though.

What is the post count level? I have never tried to post in that forum but enjoy reading it.

I just want to know if I do have a question if I am going to be able to ask it.
