they are big, but the quality is awesome. I love my 16's. they are softer then fairtex and windy so its not as rough on your sparring partners

I have the Twins Special (Black/White Tattoo Pattern) in 14oz. and they are absolutely great. I really like them. I also have the Fairtex 14oz. Training Gloves, and the Twins are a little bigger on the outside, but not enough to be noticable, unless you put them side by side. The cuffs are just slightly longer, than the Fairtex training gloves, but offer additional protection for taking kicks, and they have softer padding than the Fairtex. They are very well made, and the internal hand pockets are a nicer hand shaped fit than the Fairtex (IMHO). I went with the 14oz. in both brands for bag and mitt work, and you would be better served with the 16oz. for sparring, obviously. The 14's are definately not massive, and I think you would be really happy with them.

Ps. For the person who asked about the griphoses, I believe they started adding those on a regular basis sometime in 2008, and should be on all the 2009's.

I use 10 oz Twins Specials and by far and away the best mid priced glove i use (you cant beat the Reyes for the best) they are slightly bigger but that all helps with the defence! I like the cuff ebing slighlty longer feels sturdier on the risk I go with them every time!
