Im glad you are feeling better about things bro.

Got a question for ya. What are some good, smaller, beach towns down in Brazil? Im not looking for a place like Floripa, but somewhere a bit smaller and with less tourists. A little beach town with a decent night life and warm water.

Do you know much about Buzios? Ive read good things about it, but havnt researched it a lot yet.

I might be taking a Portugese class next semester also! I know it will be a lil different than Brazil Port but atleast i can learn some basics.

GRINGO JIU JITSU!

You guys might like this. I didnt buy the ebook, but sounds interesting.

You should do something like this Dynasty. This guy made a few thousand dollars selling his ebook on traveling and training in Brazil.

as always Dyn, this is such an inspiring thread. Being a teacher, I think I'm in the enviable position of being an adult with a career but being able to make something like this happen.

If I didn't have such an awesome coach here, I'd already be planning to travel abroad.

Dude, check out Universidade Da Luta while you're in Curitiba. I just hung out with Shogun for a couple of days and he showed us the new academy. He's being joined there by his brother Ninja, Andre Dida, and a bunch of other Chute Boxe defectors.

No personal complaints against Chute Boxe - as I've never trained there, just want you to be aware of the new academy in that town.

Once you hang with a few fighters, you should be able to secure a cheaper place to live. I hope you're up on your Portuguese - it goes a long way if you speak the language.

im friends with a few of the guys who went to udl, and i use to occasionally go to the park with dida, but my heart is with chute boxe and always will be..the udl is going to be an amazing training center..i dont think theyre in the new place yet, but they were planning to have the biggest mat space in all of brasil..last i know that were at some really nice fitness gym..

i had my apt with helio dipp, and thiago silva, , and they ended up leaving and helio couldnt keep the apt anymore, because he moved back to porto alegre so being illegal i had no other options..i could have moved in with some friends but they all lived far from the gym, and that didnt work for me
