I agree, I was going to say that. One thing that I've noticed is that (other than training) people can get thin because of the food there which is very different than US's.

my port is good i think..i mean i can hold a conversation with people..i can pretty much understand everything when typing or reading, but sometimes ill have a lil trouble if someone speaks super fast..other then that im alright..
i dont think you could put me in a situation, and me not have anything to say, so i guess thats good

Just a few questions / comments as I've been following this thread forever. I apologize if these take a while to answer, but any input is appreciated.
1. What are the possibilities for somebody who doesn't have friends in brazil to go down there and train? for a week? for a month? for a summer?
2. Is smoking as prevalent in brazil as in europe?
3. how hard did you end up sparring when you were there? did you get injured at all?
4. it really freaked me out to see cyborg smile. he looks like a really nice guy when he's not snarling.
I'm sure you've already commented on some or all of these, but I've forgotten or can't find the answers. Thanks and, honestly, congratulations... that's an amazing experience.

1..its possible, but for sure will be difficult if you dont speak portuguese
2..im not a big fan of smoking in fact i hate it..but i cant really comment on that, i didnt have an overwhelming amount of friends who smoked or not..but alot of the girls smoked..and that kind of bummed me out
3..sparring was according to your skill level, i mean there were times things started light, and maybe someone lands a nice shot, and then you turn up the heat..but surpisingly, i have never really seen anyone injured other than a cut one time.if you plan on going and this is a concern you have, dont..all the guys are super cool, and noone is trying to hurt eachother
4..cyborg, is actually one of the nicest guys youll ever meet, hes pretty funny too..he was a lil intimidating, but once you get to know him, its hard to even picture him being a badass
if you have any other questions, just lemme know
