Im very happy for you Dyn! that you improved your muay thai!
could you go into more detail! one on one vs group classes........i would love to hear what you did and how you trained? how you felt you improved quicker/better than group classes
did the trainer pick up ur weaknesses and stuff? what did you focus on over there

I hope to do the same thing soon. I have already been to Thailand, but Brazil is on my list as well. Do you have a blog or website we can follow your journey on?

Just curious which trainer you did your one on ones with? I did one on ones with a couple of the trainers there when I was there.

group classes were basically all cardio maybe ud learn 3 or 4 techniques, then do maybe 3 rounds on the pads, and 5 on the bag...
one on one for me was just all pads and sparring, and he would correct all the lil things i might have been doing wrong, and by the end of my time there i just felt completly different...for sure quicker..sparring with a guy who is really good like that really helps your timing, with everything, especially my defense, and counter attacking..
also if you develop a good relationship with your trainer and they like you, they are going to teach you things that they dont in the group classes, lil tricks, things from the clinch, throws...not that you dont learn those things in a group class, but if you want to be good, i feel its crucial to get that one on one time, and just strip your technique down, and build it back up
