im not in school..after highschool i wanted to take a break and wait a year to go to college, and i never went back...i have a business to fall back on with my father, so im lucky, i can take this opportunity and not have any risk..so for right now, being here is a motivating factor to focus and train hard, but brasil is a very distracting place...people u meet always want you to go everywhere, its hard to say no, lol

Right, I meant fly instead of bus. Switch planes, dig.

If I decide to do this, there is no way I am taking a bus, heh.

Orkut is the google version of MySpace... they just never pimped it and somehow it got overrun by Brazilians, racists, and racist Brazilians.

my favorite so far is when someones ass crack is hanging out u say bunda rachada...i think its rachada..im not surfe...and everyone laughs alot, lol...especially girls, haha

the people i met here i met on the internet through a website called orkut...its basically like a brasilian myspace, and you have to be invited to use it...met some cool people, made some good friends, and here i am

hows it living in sao paulo?...u have balls man, thats one place i would never live...the souht of brasil, parana, santa catarina, rio grande do sul..are like a completely diff country from the rest of brasil...safety, clean, everything...

i never been to sao paulo cidade, so i cant say..but i just want to get your point of view on it

Bunda rachada means split ass, literally.

Whats your orkut? I also have a profile there.

Well, I wouldnt know how it is living in São Paulo because I´ve lived here all my life, except for 6 months in London which is also a huge city, so I don´t have any basis to compare.

But comparing to London, public transport is better there and the wind is strong as hell, the winter is basically the same, but it rains a lot in London in the winter and the wind is much stronger, so it feels like it´s colder.

It´s not like I live in a guetto or something, I live in a peace and quiet neighbourhood here. Sure, I have been robbed and have seen people being robbed, lost one of my friends due to a gunshot, he owed some drug dealers or something, but whatever. You are used to the violence if you have lived here all your life. I didn´t think London was safe either, but São Paulo is a whole different ball game.

That doesn´t stop me from going to clubs, to the cinema, to malls, and do my stuff downtown. There is a place near downtown here called Liberdade, which is a japanese neighbourhood which is the place, outside of Japan, that has more japanese people, and I like to go there to buy samurai swords, shoryukens and other japanese stuff.

I think this goes to all of brazil, but in São Paulo if you are safe with your belongings, always watching your back, not showing off much, you will be alright anywhere you go.

And São Paulo is 660km away from Curitiba I think, It´s in the Southeast region of brazil, so we are way more like the south than we are from the north of brazil, even though there are a lot of immigrants from north brazil here.

São Paulo City is the 3rd biggest income in Brazil, just losing to the Brazilian Federation and São Paulo State. We have more income than all the other states, for example, so it´s not bad. We don´t have any beaches because as you know we are like 70 km away from the sea, but night life here is one of the bests in Brazil, clubs here are much better than clubs in London at least. I like it, but I don´t wanna live in this town all my life, I wanna live away in Europe for like 15 years then come back.

Have fun in Curitiba though, it´s very clean and awesome. Lots of japanese descendents there too.

ok, so tonight was the grand opening of chuteboxe here in curitiba, they opened a new academy, and all i have to say is wow..the place is fucking beautiful..i took pics so all u guys can see...but heres a quick rundown of what happened..

first, rudimar, cristiano marcello, rafeal cordeiro all gave a speech about how the fighters helped build this place, guys like wanderlei, shogun, and so o n...and this is just the beginning, they are so happy to know that this academy will be the future of many champions, and they were verfy grateful for everyone making it such an amazing place...

then they did a 15 min cardio warmup..then guys rolled for a bit, then other guys trained muay thai for a bit, they rotated on and off...but they werent sparring, they were, but not really hitting with punches...but it seemed like everyone was going very hard...like throwing head kicks, leg kicks, knees, ...rafaeil cordeiro seemed to be going really hard on this one guy, and actully hit him a few times in the head with some high kicks...it was pretty hardcore...not everyone was going hard, just some people.

anyway, after this, they asked if anyone wanted to fight in the cage, and 2 guys stepped up and fought...i actually have gthis whole fight on video and will upload it to youtube sometime soon...really good fight too..only one round, but was great/...rudimar was refiing, then it was basically over, and i took some pics, i got one with cyborg and cris cyborg, another with rafael, and one more with cristiano marcello...they were all really cool..im going tomorrow morning to train with rafael, and he actually spoke some english...and tomorrow, at night ill train jui jitsu, with cristiano...he was really cool..spoke good english, asked me where i was from..i liked him alot, seemed like really cool guys, so tomorrow we will see how gthat goes...

anyway, ill keep u guys updated, here are some pics to hold you over for a lil while

and i know im no prize to look at so there is no need to make fun of me, lol
