I am told that the IMF's have 2.5" of foam over the knuckles and the Titles have 2.5-3". Use will be mostly for bag work 2-3x/week at home. Thanks much.

they are both good gloves..I prefer the title bag gloves because of their closure system.
If you have small hands, get a regular size bag glove, as both companies make snug fitting gloves, but the difference between a large and x large is quite noticeable in the hand chamber.
If you are just starting out, there won't be a noticeable difference between the two, and I'm sure you will be happy with both. Personally I would go with the Title gloves...
If you want a glove for pure bag work, don't get a training glove..
Get a nice 16oz bag glove..
If you want to spend some money, grant and reyes can't be beat (but they tend to be a little tough on the hands for beginners).
