However, since Throwdown has started using CSI as its distributor, they have outsourced customer service issues to CSI as well. It's a strange, complicated relationship. Most recently Ringside has acquired the distribution rights to Everlast and Lonsdale, though Everlast is still made by Everlast, Lonsdale will be made Ringside and from what I can tell by playing with some of their new gear, some of it's the same, some of it's new.
And for a free plug on Ringside/Lonsdale - The new Monarch Curved Pads are effin' nice.

Really, Lonsdale will be made by Ringside now? How did you come across this info?

Because they're selling them on their website
I'm working on a project (that's taking fuggin' forever) so I have a lot of regular contact with them.
...and no, I'm not becoming a retailer.

As is yours.
Seeing how the thread has been rolling for more than ½ a year I'm sure my post was all it took to take it to the full year.

Sure, mine upped it. But, I'm not the one bitching about how it needs to die.
Nothing personal, I've just never understood the whole "This thread needs to die" post. You are just upping it back up the top, keeping it alive, and increasing the odds of new people seeing it and posting in it. It's like taking a bug and setting it free outside as you say "this bug needs to die".

Well, you're starting a conversation.
I do think this needs to die, but unlike when most post that it is not because I think I just slapped on the ultimate post and there is no need for anyone else to try to surpass my effort. It is instead because this thread keeps feeding a rumour that basically has been proven to be false. How is that not a bad thing?
If I was somehow connected to the company I wouldn't like it and if I was concidering doing business with them or buying something from them that might make me need their support in the future, I might reconsider seeing something like this.
Anyway, I kept from posting in this thread for around half a year expecting that it would die on its own, but as you can see it didn't.

Sorry, I just decided to update the thread with Throwdown's redesigned site as confirmation that it isn't going bankrupt. I always thought it wasn't but I didn't have any facts/evidence, so I just wanted to confirm what I thought and do away with the bankrupting rumour.
