For those who made Nogi orders at the end of the month

I made a Nogi order 4/26. After about 2 weeks I sent an email to them asking where my shorts were. Turned out that they lost some orders but still charged my credit card (believe if this wasn't Nogi I would have called my CC on this one). I sent them an email and I finally got my shorts on 5/15. I tried them on and I am still deciding if they are the right size or not. I am smaller than the 40 but I'm not sure if I am a 38. When I tighten the string its a little loose. I am almost afraid to send them back because who knows how long that would take to get back. To be honest though Nogi was very responsive to my emails. I didn't get anything in the box like a return form. Next time I will have to check out Sprawl.

Anyone else who has made an order and haven't received it you should contact them.

Are we talking Nogi Industries from the US here? That sounds a bit odd.

Sizing wise, if you are a 40, then go with a 38, Nogi runs exactly one size larger.

Unless I'm retarded (which we won't rule out) Chris himself said they run a size larger. Other people have mentioned it before too. Plus, from personal experience with the shorts, my 28's are a little big and I'm a 29 or so right now.

I sent back a pair of Nogis for a size exchange a few months ago. I had the new pair in about 5 days, and that's shipping from Chicago. I think your delay was a rare case with Nogi, awesome service in all my experiences.

I orderd the 34s since I usually wear 34, and they fit loose just like you say the 40s fit you. I was scared the 32s would be small, but they fit perfect.

Our e-mail server filled up as soon as we started the sale. Our order notifications come through e-mail. So, the order is placed and card is run, then we receive an e-mail stating all the details. Basically, people were ordering and we weren't being told about it. After the first few inqiries came in, we figured we'd seen the last of it. Otherwise we'd have had a huge announcement.

We apologize (again) for any delays because of this and, have since, corrected the problem.

Anyway, yes, our shorts do run a little big. Krav, we are re-locating to a larger facility so any shipment is delayed about 2 weeks. We will be happy to exchange them for you. In fact, you can keep the 40's until then, and we'll send the 38's so you can compare.

Sorry for the poor storytelling. I just woke up

Hey I'm not trying rag on anyone

To be honest if I had not emailed Nogi I wouldn't have known about the issue so if anyone else didn't know I figured that this would be a good place to let them know.

As for the me not wanting to send them back well I really want to roll in them so I am debating. I would feel pretty stupid to send back the 40s and then get 38s and decide they are too tight.

The reason I bough from Nogi in the first place is the excellent reputation and I realize I might have been a fluke. I am going to check the shorts out again this weekend and decide if I need to go down a size and hopefully put some miles on these shorts.

If I came off a little pissed it was my bad. Long week....
