Sprawl, Clinch Gear, Truth, Koral, Nogi - My Opinion

Hey guys, now that i've been working full time.......i couldn't help but buy myself some gear...maybe too much. Well i now own

Sprawl V-flex XT White Shorts
Clinch Gear Shorts
Nogi Bone & Grill
Truth V3.1
Koral VT-Pro shorts

i just wanted to share my thoughts on them......i might do a review on each of them but i'm lazy. All are size 32.

!!!SIZE!!!
even though all are size 32.....they all fit differently.

Truth are the smallest 32's....with the elastic system, they fit the most snug.
Clinch gears are close behind
Koral's
Sprawl
Nogi

!!!LENGTH!!!
Korals are the shortest, just above the knee
Clinch Gear
Sprawl & Truth around the same
Nogi are probably the longest but not alot more than sprawl and truth. Although all are fine for kicking etc.

!!!COMFORT!!!
Clinch Gears are the most comfortable.....extra light....very practical and just good shorts to be in.
Sprawl's are also light and quite comfortable..but just longer
Nogi's are good also but because they're longer....i don't know...you don't feel as free.
Truth - heavier material....feels rougher on the skin but no problem really
Koral - rip-stop material and snug

!!!APPEARANCE!!!
Nogi Bone
Clinch Gears
Sprawl
Truth
Koral

!!!OVERALL!!!
Clinch Gear - Most practical shorts for training - light, comfortable....looks good...too bad there's no drawstring
Sprawls - Great shorts, no problems....if they were a little shorter....they'd be perfect, i like shorter shorts..like muay thai shorts so its just my opinion.
Nogi - ...looks great....i wear nogis alot casually...they look cool just as regular boardshorts.....my wallet and keys fit in the mouthguard pocket. Prefer bones over grill. Just too long for grappling imo but still works...not as practical as clinch gears.
Truth - Not a fan of the material and the waist velcro system is bulky. But great shorts for the price.
Koral - Don't like the feel..or the look....too many logos. I feel like a wanker when i wear them for some reason.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask. I might update with pictures later.

Nogis and sprawls have been sizing big for the last 2 years from memory. Will nogi always, but sprawls did. I went from a 34 to 32 overnight

hmmm....maybe koral's aren't the loosest....i'll check the drawstring....i don't know..they just don't feel right when i wear them.

Maybe sprawls sizing goes up in smaller intervals or something.

Nogi Bone has a pocket on the left thigh....Grill on the ass. They're for a mouthguard...velcro closing. You can hardly see it.
Sprawl has a small one on the inside for a mouthguard.

Hmm. My Truth 3.1s are 32 and fit just fine, although I will have to agree that the closing system could be trimmed down a bit. Truths probably just fit truer to size than the others.

I believe that clinchgear has a drawstring now.. I may have been misinformed though

Clinchgear is supposed to integrate one soon, but they have yet to do so.

u thought the nogi bones were the best looking? yuck, and in your comfort section are you just talking about the way they feel as just shorts or the way they feel when you train in them?
