Shock Doctor Compression Shorts + Flexi Cup

Hey guys. I bought a Shock doctor flexi cup with the athletic supporter...it was really uncomfortable for me...the bottom sides of the cup like poked my thighs..or those tendons beside ur nut sack, just uncomfortable.

Today i exchanged it and tried the same flexi cup with the shock doctor compression shorts...and i swear it didn't feel like the same cup. I was surprised how comfortable they're were, u barely notice the cup and the compression shorts are great, felt nice and cool. Had a bjj session with them and they were great, no more arm bar nut pains, or knees in the nuts.

Anyways i just wanted to share my experience with the shock doctor cup + compression shorts so if you don't like the athletic supporter...give the compression shorts a chance.

I'm really happy with my ShockDoctor compression shorts, although quite a few people on here express displeasure with them.

First time I've heard praise about the compression shorts.

I personally HATE them when I use a cup with them. The cup rides up and floats around, not snug against the body. I use the standard supporter and then I wear the compression shorts over top of that.

For washing, I machine wash mine in cold water and hang dry. Works perfect and drys quickly.

I hate the shorts with the cup. I wore mine 1x and the cup was floating all around then I went for an armbar...I no longer use those shorts and have gone to the supporter.

I own a pair of these, and have ordered several more. They seem to get bashed a lot on this forum, but I'm a fan. I have to wonder how many of the people who claim excessive "floating" are either wearing the wrong size, or may be between sizes, thus making the company's sizing chart a bad pick for their body type/shape. I'm usually between an A4 and A5 gi, so I know how it goes.

I wash them cold, inside out, hang dry only, just like the little tag on the inside says to. It also says no bleach (at least the black ones), but i've thrown it in a load with color safe bleach regularly with no ill effects after 3 or so months at 3-4 washes/week. The things dry in no time. If you're in a hurry, throw them in a room with a ceiling fan, or just point a directional fan at them for an hour or two.
