Shin guards recommendations ?

Hey guys, I have been using some cheapo $20 dollar shin guards for a while, they slide all over my legs/shins and offer little protection when sparring, my shins hurt like a bitch.

I am looking for quality shin guards but don't know what to go for, so any recommendations would be appreciated very much.

Thanks guys.

cheers.

You know... I've seriously been thinking about buying a membership here, but there's no way I'm going to do it if the search function keeps breaking.

The CSI grappling gaurds stay on like no other shin gaurds I've seen. However you do give up some protection to the shin and forefoot. I used a pair of Ringside leather shins for years before I got these. they did a pretty good job staying put as well and defintily had better coverage/impact resistance. I think the key to keeping the shins in one place is the little strap that goes under the forefoot, Its available on lot of differnt companies models.

I would not buy a pair of shins without the forefoot strap. Also some stretchiness in the straps that go around the calf helps out a bunch keeping things from sliding.
