They are very restrictive in the hip areas and don't offer very much movement at all unless you go with a bigger size. On top of that the Velcro is not top notch. If I were you I would go with a size up, as usual." phenom

They are the ones without the split. I would recommend the shorts for ppl who reg wear an XXL or even an XL as the laces can snug them up nicely.The Velcro isn't a huge problem because of the laces that also help secure the shorts.
