Ringside IMF training gloves vs Ringside safety training gloves

I was wondering if anyone can help me decide on which sparring gloves I should purchase. Its between the IMF training gloves and the safety training gloves. I hear a lot of good things about the IMF training gloves but I have also heard some negative things such as the glove is too tight, that they are a bit heavy, the padding is too solid, and that you barely feel the punches that you throw which takes the fun out of sparring. On the other hand I have heard nothing bad about the Safety training gloves. Can you guys give me some feedback please? Thanks

I've heard/read absurd amounts of positive feedback about the IMFs and little to no negative...

I haven't really seen or heard anything feedback on the safeties.

Haven't tried either myself. The IMFs are very popular, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of owners among the Sherdoggers. ECS123 just bought a pair. With a bit of luck he'll end up reviewing them.

I don't like my IMF, it is so stiff that you really have to strain to keep your fiat closed... After awhile my hand muscles are tired.

IFM techs are awesome, the wrist support is great, and you can hit as hard as you want and not feel much. my hands are kinda big, but i weight around 145 so i bought the 14 oz. there is the perfect amount of space for a pair of hand wraps to go under.
the only negative about these gloves is they are hard to get on and off if you get them whit the elastic cuff.
But if your looking for a just sparring glove these are perfect.
If you nee to switch gloves while holding mits or what not you should get a different pair. my solution iwll be getting a nice pair of ringside bag gloves. Besides that these gloves are a great purchase, idk what the guy about me is talking about.

Thanks for the help guys I think I might just get the Safety Sparring gloves because I do have a pair of the IMF bag gloves and what I don't like about them is that they are too stiff and I'm pretty sure that the IMF sparring gloves aren't any different so just to be safe I will get the Safety sparring gloves.

The IMF are awesome for protecting your hands and your training partners face. Nothing worse than feeling knuckles from thin gloves on your noggin.

I recommend these gloves:

The hand compartment is tight to start but will loosen up over time.

Looks like Throwdown is making them also: Throwdown Elite Molded Foam Training Gloves-Combatsports.com
