Recomendations for earguard for bjj?

Hey.. I havent really needed any headgear for my jiu jitsu, but yesterday I sort of tweaked my ear and there is some swelling. I'm gonna drain it, but I was just wondering if anyone could recomend some headgear that would be comfortable for grappling, and point me in the direction of where to order. Help appreciated.

I use an Asics ear guard for juniors. It fits my big head, but the ear covers are not as large as normal. Works well.

Being deformed is the coolest! After I got cauliflower ears so bad that I couldn't hear or sleep on my side anymore I started poking myself in the eye and beating myself about the face and scalp till I looked tough like this.

So now everyone in my gym knows not to mess with me.

On a more serious note I like these.

Top right side of the screen=search ...many mysteries may be revealed by judicious use of this function....

i cant believe that some of you actually take any type of training in combat sports. makes me sick to see this kind of man-less banter on a sherdog forum.ive seen guys in the various training centers ive trained in over two and a half decades bite their tongues in half while grappling without mouthgaurds, the obvious striking injuries, blow knees/shoulders/elbows out and the like.WTF?!?!? walk into any reputable dojo/training facility with some earguards on and see how high and fast your stock rises.some of us here train in combat sports, and training in combat sport means sometimes you get injured. busted ears are not a injury, yeah they suck and smart.but get real man.man up and either do or do not. if not take a pottery class with your mother.

Yep.And when you spar make sure you do it bareknuckle too....C'mon,most of the guys on this forum have suffered injuries, myself included and as a general rule it makes sense to take steps to prevent them as best as is possible. If you are injured then obviously then you can't train ,so if you could have prevented that by taking measures it makes sense to me.The majority of guys who train here also have full-time jobs, often where if they go in looking too beat up it will be frowned upon(apart from you Mackz 'cos you are like 13 or something j/k)

The majority of people have to earn a living and if they are unable to do so then it obviously causes financial hardship etc. That said I rarely wear a mouthguard nor a box or earguards. This is my personal preference but I will not take the piss outta someone who feels the need to do so.I WILL take the piss outta someone who does not use the search function though!

you must be driving the candyass-as-fuck bandwagon.and you should change your signature to "depends are better than xxxl huggies"(and i dont think you could eat a hatchet wound with any authority).there is a diffrence between sparring barehanded and whining about cauli's.ive had'em for years and years.those of you who are afraid to go to work with a little bandage on your ear,for fear of co-worker water cooler talk/or clients, should asess your priorities.i have never been ashamed of a training/fight injury.those type of things are what separate me from the millions of "sheeple" i co-exist with in this world.my jitsu trainer is a lt. in my states worst prison and he doesnt complain about going to work and having inmates make statements about the way his face looks.so whats your exscuse.you dont even belong on this forum, maybe martha stewarts sight may serve your needs a little more properly.you have the widest peppermint stripes on any candyass mommas boy ive ever seen, and you wrote the post to prove it.shame....oh the shame.
