Icon14 Recieved my shock doc compression shorts

Well this is my first MMA-related product and my first order from an MMA site. I ordered from SSFgear.com. I had a few questions before I ordered so I just hit up Ron with some PM's here on the forums and he was fast to reply. I ordered on Friday 28th and recieved it today Monday 31st! VERY fast shipping, especially since I live in California and they are listed all the way in Virginia. I'm not sure whether the shorts are too big or not, I ordered a Large and might need a medium. I think I'll keep the large though... first I need to try it out in BJJ practice. If it is too large I will just keep it and order a medium. At the beginning I was either to order from SSFgear or the Shock Doctor website themselves. I chose SSFgear and I am glad I did. Shipping and support was very impressive and any future orders I will not hesitate to choose SSF again! Thanks guys. A+.

Hmm... the only complaint I would have to say is that they did not carry the Sprawl Loose Fit Grappling top, as I would have liked to order that at SSFgear as well. I ordered it from Sprawl.tv the same day and have yet to recieve it, they havn't even sent tracking info so I don't know if they even shipped it.

Oh and after ordering the reciept showed up in my inbox but the invoice showed up in my bulk folder, I use Yahoo mail. No biggie just putting it out there.

I'm glad you like the SD. I would love to carry Sprawl. Help me out guys, email the hell out of the Steves and tell them to give me a wholesale account that I can sell over the Web.

Yeh I want the loose-fit grappling top as well, but do not want to pay $11.50 US for shipping to Canada :\

From what i've read on here SSF seems like an awesome company to order from. I wish they carried thai bags other then the vinyl one they've got otherwise i'd order a leather bag from them. I see they carry some CSI stuff but unfortuantely not the CSI thai bag.

I will order my bag gloves and wrist wraps from there though. Hey Ron (that's the SSF dude's name right?) what are the most supportive gloves you sell for my wrists and hands? Do you recommend bag gloves or mma gloves?

EDIT:....did some seaching around and it looks like the SSF Shooto gloves are exactly what i'm looking for.

yeah, i used 16oz. gloves for bag work, shooto style gloves for light bag work and light sparring (they're fallin apart though, gonna get some ssf ones soon), and the only time i would don 4oz. gloves is the week before / during a fight.
