FYI its the same manufacturer for almost all MMA gear. I know 3 or 4 companies that use them.

Psyko's stuff is good. The new shorts that they have are pretty awesome and unlike anything I have ever worn.

I love all the haters that probably have never tried any of their stuff on. I'd be interested to hear what problems anyone has had. They have been around for what 3 years now, can't suck that bad.

But that is my opinion.

Hey Everyone.

I am one of the owners of PsyKO Gear. I wanted to let you know who we are. I know a lot of East Coasters are probably not too familiar with us, but we have been on the west coast for a few years now. We are pretty small, just 2 guys who want to support the sport and help it grow. We train. We fight. We're pretty well known in Cali. Yes, we have been around for almost 3 years, now.

Haters can say what they want, and that is cool. We've been around longer than most with the exception of Tapout (obviously) and we're not going anywhere.

And, no, our stuff is not knock off crap. Proof, check out the above mentioned shorts. I guarantee they are not like anything you will find anywhere else. We wanted to come up with something that was not just the standard boardshort (which we also carry). We wanted something that moves with you and is great for grappling (ala sprawl who makes a great short), but we wanted ours to be something you could wear outside of the gym too; around town, skateboarding, surfing, etc. and personally I wouldn't wear most grappling shorts around town.

Any questions, you can email us.

customerservice@psykogear.com

Thanks as always for the support!

Their gear just looks unimpressive when compared to other brands that run the same $ or less. SSF and Truth have board shorts that have better closure systems than that for 25 and 20$ respectively. Also, the name 'Psyko' just screams of trying too hard to sound tough. With so many options out there for less or a little more it doesn't really make sense to get fight shorts that have a standard board short outside tie and with the use of stretch panels and full stretch poly material construction, 4 ply polyester/nylon blend doesn't strike me as the best fabric to use anymore. I've never personally tried their product so I'm not going to say it's good or bad, I'll simply say there are comparable items with better closure systems for about 10$ less, or for 10$ more you can get shorts made from the new strecth poly material which reduces stress put directly on the seems of the shorts.
