Best guards?

Looking for a custom mouth guard before my next amateur fight and was wondering what everyones take was? How long did it take to get your mouthguard? What was the cost? Customer Service? etc... Thanks much in advance.

www.starsguards.com. Took me around 3 weeks for the full process. Customer service was outstanding. And the guard looks great.

Here's a link to my review:

StarsGuards = INSANE!!! (in a good way)

Okay I have a dentist appointment on january 17th and am going to have a mold made. Is it as simple as just sending it out? How long did it take to get yours? I read your review and it sounded really promising I was just wondering if they had any real competition?

It took me around two weeks with having to do my own impression. If you send in an impression, I imagine the timeframe would be similar, if not better. If you have your own mold already, it really is as simple as mailing it, and getting a guard back. Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I think if you have your own mold, there's a discount. The 130-140 includes the impression kit.

They do have plenty of competition, but I'm happy as hell with mine. Also, there are plenty of other good companies, but I haven't heard of any having a two week turn around time. Jeff, the owner is typically around here during the week, so he may post to this thread sometime Monday. If you have a fight or something on short notice, I'm sure he can work with you.

*I have no affiliation with Starsguards other then being a satisfied customer.

sometimes all it takes is being a satisfied customer to make another potential customer take the plunge. The turnaround sounds just about perfect to me and heck a discount sounds even better. I think i'll have to place a call to them early this week and go through with ordering one.

I heard www.fightdentist.com was pretty good. For a single it cost 150 and for a double it cost 250. They send you a kit to make your own mold then you send it back and you get it like a week later.

Gotta vote for www.starsguards.com. Jeff has awesome customer service and produces top-notch guards.

During the heavy volume of holiday mail my first impression kit was lost. Jeff was kind enough to overnight me another one and then worked overtime to insure I received my guard before Christmas.

Not only does he make you feel like you're his only customer, Jeff's a big believer in the 'extras'. As you can see from Flounders pix, Stars also customizes your guard case with your design or logo. They also use interlocking hard cases that won't open if dropped.
