Regular handwraps < Mexican handwraps < gel pad w/mexican handwraps < ringside gel shock handraps.
For about a year I used to use ringsides gel pad under my mexican handwraps, until today I recieved my Gel Shock Handwraps from ringside and they are fucking awesome. And right now they are on sale!
Yeah that's why I bought two pair, hell of a deal.....it just sucks that they don't fit under my bag gloves
i don't like regular bag gloves...not enough protection in my paranoid opinion. Get some superbag gloves...
I actually got the ringside gel shock bag gloves. They're like 13oz so i figured they'll do good for protection...especially with my plan to combine them with the gel wraps. DOUBLE THE GEL!! unfortunately my plan is ruined by my shortsightedness when ordering the glove size.
i just cut off the 120" regular handwrap that was on the Gel handwraps, and I use my old mexican handwraps over the Gel. And it's fucking beautiful...feels like my hands were taped.
Windy handwraps are amazing imo, so soft to the skin and the velcro is super strong. THe generic handwraps serve their purpose though. Wraps are wraps as long as they are about 170-180 and you know how to wrap properly. I would worry more about the glove over it.
